CHRIS TIMMS

I teach in and coordinate the Basic / Intermediate ESL program at Salisbury; and take a few Advanced classes from time to time. I've been in Tafe on and off since 1982, during which time I've worked mostly with NESB students. I've worked as a learning support teacher in the food and motor mechanics schools; teacher on the EPM at Croydon; senior lecturer vocational preparation at the old Elizabeth tafe; helped design and implement several workplace based training programs. I'm now mostly interested in maintaining and developing our ESL program at Salisbury and Regency. What the WEB holds I'm not sure; but, at least, I want to get the skills to explore possibilities. Apart from my immediate family - a painter/teacher partner and two children (10 and 8) - my principal passions are cricket and music. I am something of a casual player of both; but now mostly the latter - violins and guitars.
