I work as a HPI at Torrens Valley Institute. My ESL classes consist of a mixed ability group ASLPR 1- to ASLPR 2. Last term I introduced the module "Basic Keyboarding " to a group of 10 students. It was a slow process but a rewarding experience for all. I felt that it was a good introduction to computing for those students who progressed to Advanced English and enrolled in the computing module. I would like to use E-mail and other on-line facilities with a bit more confidence with my next group of students. This PD course is a great opportunity to develop that extra confidence.
