- create Powerpoint Slides
- convert slides to HTML
- upload slides to Internet
- take note on starting

In the Classroom
- log on to the Network
- open an Internet browser
- log in to the virtual
classroom
- find starting URL of
presentation
- select synchronise browsing
- welcome virtual students
and check that they can hear you and see presentation slides
- check incoming audio
of virtual students if you (and they) wish to speak
- start the recording (know
filename you want to use for recording in advance!)
- refresh the browser
(this ensure that the opening slide is viewable in the archive)
- deliver the lecture
- pause the recording at
break times; restart the recording after the break
- stop the recording at
the end the lecture
- say goodbye to the virtual
students
- request evaluation of
session; give students URL if there is an online evaluation form
- NB:
monitor your audio level throughout the session. Glance at the LED indicator
every few minutes to ensure that your audio is still registering
